What we’re looking for
Blue Forest is currently seeking an aftercare assistant to work within our busy operations team, providing exceptional support and maintenance services to our clients after the completion of their projects. The aftercare team plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing maintenance enquiries, resolving practical issues, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
The ideal candidate should be practical, with excellent communication skill and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Reporting to our Aftercare Manager, you will join the team in visiting and inspecting our treehouses around the UK, carrying out both routine and emergency repairs to past projects under supervision.
Our clients are spread nationwide so the ability to travel and stay away for short periods will be essential.
Main duties and responsibilities
Following a maintenance schedule to ensure that all aftercare and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard (i.e. carpentry works, pressure washing/cleaning, decorating, replacing fittings and fixtures – fuses, bulbs, fixing leaking taps etc).
Basic repairs to building fabric including cladding, guttering, locks, doors & windows, decks and support structures, rope bridges and play equipment.
Inspecting and troubleshooting problems and issues reported by clients or colleagues.
Liaising with our operations team and external contractors where required to assist with the delivery of current projects.
Maintaining company tools and equipment required to perform the role effectively.
Personal attributes/Key skills
Technical Proficiency: Previous practical work experience (i.e. general maintenance, building or landscaping)

Qualifications: Must have own full clean UK driving licence

Salary range: From £22,000 depending on age and experience
