With grounds that reach right up to the sea, the family wanted somewhere they could completely retreat to that would complement the wild and breathtakingly beautiful scenery. They had their heart set on the treehouse being located just a few metres from the Atlantic Ocean where they could enjoy panoramic views across the dramatic Irish coastline.
The children of the family were most excited about the prospect of watching for dolphins, seals and eagles from the treehouse, so it was important that the design features a look-out deck. Due to its windy, exposed location the treehouse would also be exposed to some tough weather, so the structure needed to be sturdy and durable.

Be inspired by the wild and beautiful Atlantic Ocean
Stand on the deck to look out over the choppy, slate-grey waters of the ocean, taking a moment to breath in the salty sea air and listen to the gulls. The Atlantic Treehouse is a comfortable and spacious hideaway that offers a tranquil, almost dream-like way of life.
There is plenty of room inside for the children to play and for the adults to relax with a book in the comfy window seat. Bespoke features give the treehouse a special touch, like the copper roof finials, intricate rope work and glass window in the floor which looks down into the lush green foliage below.
The treehouse walls are clad with Cedar while the exterior deck is finished with Kebony timber decking, chosen for its beauty, environmental credentials and hardwearing characteristics.
